I started the Beauty Guru blog nine years ago to combine my love of writing and beauty and to share my favourite tips - many of which I have picked up during my career as a makeup artist. 

I strive to provide authentic, honest beauty advice. I say no to advertising or sponsored posts - everything I recommend I wholeheartedly believe in.

When your winged liner behaves 🖤 This morning I used the @urbandecaycosmetics Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen: easy to use and budge-proof 🙌🏼 Hair is looking LUSH because I have some lovely news - I'm going to be a mama! Baby girl is due in December and I am beyond excited. My current holy grail brow products 🖤 I only recently started using @benefitcosmetics Brow Wiz after picking one up for my kit in Sephora while I was overseas. It never made it to my professional kit as I couldn't resist keeping it for myself! It's the ultimate tinted brow gel - and not only that, it adds volume to the brow hairs 🙌🏼 I apply mine before my brow pencil as a base, and after to set. Highly recommended and perfect for days when you need light definition but can't be bothered filling in your brows. Brow Wiz by @anastasiabeverlyhills cannot be beaten for its precise tip, excellent colour range, and beautiful result. Keep it soft or go all out and create a super bold brow. The built-in brush is the perfect size to groom brows pre and post application 🖤 What are you favourite brow products? Channeling cleopatra with this beautiful 24k gold face mask and treatment at @cocoonmedicalspa in Bali ✨ My skin is feeling absolutely superb after a lengthy massage, facial, and microdermabrasion (my first ever!). When I'm on holiday I get quite lazy with my skincare regime, so this was a much needed treat. I suspect I will be coming back for more before this trip is over.
