PRODUCT LOVE: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector

I adore a good liquid highlighter.

Some days I forgo foundation completely in favour of a coat of SPF moisturiser and liquid glow buffed into the high points of my face. I especially love this look when I have a (faux) tan. 

As I age, I find creamy formulations more flattering on my skin than powders - highlighting powders, in particular, are easy to overapply and can emphasise wrinkles and skin imperfections.

I picked up the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter in the shade Opal: the perfect peachy-nude. Becca are renowned for their luxurious face products, specifically their highlighters, so it came as no surprise that I fell in love with this product.

The consistency is smooth and lightweight; application is a breeze with fingers, a brush, or a damp Beauty Blender. The finish? Luminescent and dewy without over the top glitter. Ideal for day to day wear. I would love to try some of the other shades, in particular, Moonstone, a pearlescent white. Liquid highlighters can be mixed into foundation to create a light, dewy finish, worn alone, or applied to the high points of the face before or after foundation application.

While on the pricey side, a little goes a long way with this product. A tiny pump is ample for one full application.
