For some time, it has been impossible to shop cult makeup brands such as Urban Decay in New Zealand. Though the brand situation is slowly improving here, we still miss out on a lot of exciting products that are only available in the U.S or Australia.

You can imagine my excitement when I received a press release stating that Urban Decay is now available in Aelia Duty-Free at Auckland Airport. Urban Decay is a legendary American brand that creates exceptional, innovative products with a focus on colour.

I have been a fan for many years, stocking up whenever I'm overseas and near a Sephora store. I'm particularly fond of the All Nighter setting spray (a staple in my professional makeup kit). This beauty does exactly what it claims; sets makeup in place for the night, through humidity, sweat, tears, and heat.

The Naked palettes are famed in the beauty world, and for good reason. Each palette houses a spread of wearable, highly-pigmented shades that can be used to create anything from a perfect natural eye to a full-blown smoky look (Naked 2 palette pictured below). A quality eyeshadow palette is a fantastic investment, and one that will last a long time in your makeup bag.
